Is there a free trial? Do I need a credit card?

How long does it take to get set up?
Most installers are quoting their first job within the same session. Add your products and pricing once, and Aethiq handles the rest from there.
Does it work for commercial jobs, not just residential?
Yes. Aethiq handles CPQ for both residential and commercial solar and battery installs. You stay in control of finalising the BOM and the quote — there is no hard limit on system size or job complexity.
Do I need to migrate data from my spreadsheets?
No migration needed to get started. You build your product catalog and pricing directly in Aethiq. Most installers find it faster to set up fresh than to import old data.
Is my pricing and margin data private?
Completely. Your cost prices, margins, and client data are only visible to your team. Aethiq is not a marketplace — no other business sees your numbers.
Is Aethiq a CRM?
No — Aethiq is a CPQ tool (Configure, Price, Quote). It is built specifically for solar and battery installers who want to quote faster and more professionally than a spreadsheet allows. It does not replace your CRM if you use one; it handles the quoting side only.
How many users can I add?
Starter is single-user. Pro supports up to 5 users. Team is unlimited. Check the pricing section above for the full breakdown.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data stays accessible for a reasonable period after cancellation so you can export what you need. We do not delete anything immediately.
Does Aethiq handle STCs?
Yes. For every Australian job, Aethiq calculates Small-scale Technology Certificates automatically — both solar and battery components. You can look up the current STC spot price directly from the quoting screen, and the value is factored into the quote so your client sees the real net cost.
Does Aethiq help size the system, or do I need to know the kWp upfront?
Both options are available. If you know the size, just enter it. If you need guidance, the built-in sizing wizard takes the client's electricity bill — upload a photo or PDF and AI extracts the details — along with roof orientation, shading, and the client's goal, then recommends a system size using irradiance data for all 8 Australian states and territories. You can adjust the recommendation before generating the quote.
