Why I Built Aethiq

After 20+ years in consulting and technology-enabled business transformation, I've seen the same pattern across every industry: the businesses that win aren't the ones with the most complex tools — they're the ones that use technology to remove friction and make good decisions faster. That's the lens I bring to Aethiq — a business mindset paired with deep technical execution, not just software for software's sake.

Solar and battery installers are living this problem every day. Quoting is slow, manual, and error-prone — hours lost to spreadsheets, pricing lookups, and formatting, time that should be going toward growing the business and serving customers.

My focus has increasingly turned toward sustainability — how the energy transition isn't just an environmental imperative but one of the biggest business opportunities of this decade. I wanted to apply what I've learned about AI and technology-enabled transformation to a sector that matters: helping installers quote faster, price with confidence, and spend less time on admin and more time getting solar and battery systems into homes and businesses.

Aethiq is built on a simple belief: the tools powering the clean energy transition should be as efficient as the technology they're helping deploy.
